Many people want to add the acai berry to their diet. It has no side effects, contains a large amount of nutritional supplements, and seems to be a miracle fruit when it comes to making people healthier and thinner. But with all of these great benefits, there’s going to be one downside: the cost.
The main issue here is that fresh acai berries lose their potency about 24 hours after being picked. Therefore, the only way to actually eat acai berries in many places is to buy them frozen or dried. Both can be costly, and after shelling out the money for them, you may even be a little disappointed in the taste. On the other hand, acai juices are often much cheaper, and you can usually find them at the grocery store.
You do, though, have to drink several bottles of these juices to get the same benefits, and the cost can add up. Of course, you can also take products (generally pills) with acai berry extract in them. These pills, though, are often $100 or so for a month’s supply, making them just as expensive as frozen berries or acai berry juice, if not more costly.
